Shah Rukh’s fan club in Chennai, which is called SRKChennaiFC on Twitter, recently posted photos of the meet and greet on the social media platform. A photo collage shows Shah Rukh posing for photos with around 20 fans from the fan club. Our #Chennai family with King @iamsrk. Thank you sir and team for everything,” the post’s caption read. The account is run by an ardent Shah Rukh fan, Sudhir Kothari.

In an interaction with News 18, Sudhir revealed how the meeting took place. “I contacted Pooja Dadlani madam and Karuna (Badwal) madam who are managing sir. They spoke to sir, who said he would like to meet us once he’s finished filming,” he said, adding, “After a few days I got a call saying sir we will meet on October 8, the day he finished Jawan’s Chennai schedule,” he said.

Sudhir was asked to select 20 people from the fan club for the meet. He then revealed that Shah Rukh’s team had booked rooms for each of them at the five-star hotel where he was staying. He had two rooms reserved for us and also took care of all our requirements. A manager and two butlers were assigned to us and we could order anything from the menu. Monsieur told his staff that he would like to meet us individually in his suite. He gave us plenty of time to interact, click pictures and even present our gifts to him. He didn’t rush and was very sweet and gentle and heard everyone and interacted very nicely.”

Shah Rukh was filming Jawan in Chennai for a few weeks and returned to Mumbai a few days ago. The action thriller marks his first on-screen collaboration with Nayanthara. The Atlee movie is due out next year.
