Responsibilities
- Supervise staff including receptionists, kitchen staff and office workers.
- Monitor employee performance and perform regular reviews to help improve customer service.
- Collect payments and keep records of budgets, funds and expenses.
- Greet and check in guests once they arrive.
- Resolve issues regarding hotel services, amenities and policies.
- Organize activities and assign responsibilities to employees to ensure productivity.
- Create and implement a marketing strategy to promote hotel services and amenities.
- Coordinate with external parties including vendors, travel agencies and conference organizers.
- Assess hotel performance and ensure compliance with health and safety rules.
- Participate in financial activities including setting room rates, establishing budgets and allocating funds to departments.
- overseas the entire operations and department of a boutique hotel and restaurant.
Terms
- Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality/Hospitality Management or relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel management or a similar role.
- Fluent English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Understanding of all hotel management best practices and relevant laws and guidelines
- Working knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of hotel management software (PMS) is an asset
- Excellent customer service skills as well as an entrepreneurial spirit
- Demonstrable aptitude in decision making and problem solving
- Reliable with an ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Exceptional leadership skills and strong attention to detail.
Remuneration
N50,000 – N70,000 Monthly.
