Watch this living room that hasn’t been updated since the 60s get a modern makeover:
“I don’t think housekeeping has enough time. Let’s go ahead and quickly clean this room for 30 minutes,” she explained.
Niki advised to start by checking the mattress for bed bugs, swapping the sheets and spraying the air with disinfectant. She then tackled the bathroom and cleaned any areas that might contain “bodily fluids”, such as around the shower, sink and toilet. The mom also disinfected all frequently touched surfaces, such as light switches, telephone, faucets and doorknobs.
“I do this all the time and people judge me,” one user wrote. Nicki replied, “I’m so misjudged, sis!”
“Wow. Now I never want to stay in a room again unless I have the proper cleaning products,” another commented.
“Fill out an application at this point,” wrote one user.
“As a former housekeeper, we got in trouble if we spent more than 15 minutes in the room… It warms my heart,” one person said.
“I thought I was weird doing this! I’m not alone,” someone added.
