Glacier Peaks Hotel, facilities welcome limited reopening | New

After nearly a year, the Blackfeet Tribe Casino and Hotel reopened last week for limited services. The Jackpot Restaurant, Glacier Grind Cafe, and Glacier Peaks Hotel have been included in the reopening, with the restaurant offering curbside service on the first night, Thursday, January 14.

“It felt like the grand opening of the whole casino,” said Jostin Lawrence, director / director of marketing at Glacier Peaks Casino. “The photo doesn’t do it justice – they were lined up at the roundabout. There have been over a thousand orders, and that was a problem because our production capacity is limited.

For now, the Jackpot Restaurant and Glacier Grind are open 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Sunday, while the Grind is open 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Online ordering is available at, And although Jackpot is only available curbside, the Grind will accept up to two patrons, wearing masks, at a time indoors.

Jackpot and Grind officials are also requesting that customers doing business in their vehicles also wear face masks to ensure the safety of service personnel.

The Glacier Peaks Hotel is now open 24/7 and is launching a new online reservation system at to make reservations. Visitors are requested to wear masks and their temperature will be taken at the door.

“It’s new technology,” Lawrence said, “and we’re learning as we go. There are a lot of changes to adapt and fix, and we’ve been working all day to get back to the people who were having issues.

Difficult points aside, the Browning community is clearly thrilled that one of its iconic locations is starting to return to normal.
