DMA, Flight Facilities and Earl Sweatshirt lead the lineup

WHAT the festival has announced is a full roster of Australian talent, with some big international names added for extra measure.

The popular one-day party will travel to Sandstone Point, Queensland on Saturday October 29, and to Newcastle, NSW the following weekend, Saturday November 5.

On three stages – THIS Stage, THIS Stage and The Other Stage – more than 20 acclaimed artists will perform for fans. With the reopening of borders, international artists are back: hip hip icon Earl Sweatshirt will make an appearance, ready to play excerpts from his new album SICK!. Pop-rock singer Upsahl will also make the trip from the United States.

On the Australian front, perennial festival favorites DMA (NSW only), Hockey Dad and Skegss will get the crowds moving, as will electronic duo Flight Facilities. What So Not returns from the UK to play exclusively at Sandstone Point.

Singer-songwriters Ruby Fields, Alice Ivy, Lola Scott and Vera Blue will charmingly calm the proceedings amid the chaotic energy of the rest of the festival.

You can check out the full lineup below, with many more artists to be announced. A special opening for the CETTE stage will also be chosen by the unearthed triple j team.

Tickets goes on sale from Friday, July 1 at 9:00 a.m. AEST. Members-only presale begins Wednesday, June 29 at 9am AEST (register here). If you’ve already attended a THIS THIS event this year, the organizers are giving past ticket holders 48 hours to purchase tickets at the first release price.
