Bus Éireann announces special direct services for Galway Garth fans


Bus Éireann, Ireland’s national bus company, is encouraging country music fans in Galway to leave their cars at home when traveling to Garth Brooks concerts in Dublin this week, by taking one of their special direct services from Galway bus station to Busáras in Dublin instead.

Bus Éireann operates special services each day a concert is scheduled, 9/10/11/16/17 September. Services from Galway (direct to Dublin) will depart at 12:00 from Galway Bus Station and arrive at Busáras in Dublin at 15:15. Return services will depart from Busáras at 23:55 and arrive at Galway Bus Station at 03:10. Tickets cost just €35 return and can be booked online at expressway.ie “We are pleased to offer spectators the option of leaving their cars at home when they travel to Garth Brooks in September,” said Bus Éireann Commercial Director Eleanor Farrell. ”With over 80,000 people expected at Croke Park each night of concerts from across Ireland, Bus Éireann are proud to play their part in bringing Galway passengers to and from Dublin in the comfort of one of these services special direct. Taking one of our special services means passengers don’t have to worry about fuel prices, parking or hotel reservations and can arrive ready for an evening of great music.”

Tickets are limited, so passengers are encouraged to reserve their seats now on the Expressway website. To book your tickets, click on Book tickets on the Expressway website, enter Galway (bus station) as the starting point and Dublin (Busáras) as the destination and enter the number of tickets you wish to purchase.
