Korean city of Paradise City reopens casino, hotel facilities after COVID-19 fear
Korean integrated resort Paradise City, located in Incheon outside Seoul, said it reopened its foreign-only casino after an eight-day closure due to staff testing positive for COVID-19.
The reopening comes just 48 hours after management said via a notice on the resort’s website that the casino would remain closed “indefinitely”.
Paradise City initially closed for three days from September 1 after one staff member tested positive, but extended the closure of most facilities until September 9, when five other resort staff were also tested positive.
Another notice on the website on Wednesday said the casino was back on track, along with the Paradise Hotel, outdoor pool and some F&B outlets. The Art Paradiso Hotel, the indoor swimming pool, the gym and the cinema remain closed.
